So, it's been a while....
Like over a year...
I'm sorry - more so that I missed out on saving all our adventures on here to see later on.
Luckily during that time I did some vlogging, so there are videos on YouTube and we're not totally without things to remember the last year or so!!
That being said, we went to a family reunion this past week and I discovered that our blog is listed on the family website for people to click on...and then see that we haven't posted since March of last year. Needless to say I was a little embarrassed and realized that I needed to start getting back on top of this.
What better time to start than with the first day of school, right??
We have decided to give public school a try here in Utah (I know, that's a whole other post....we've moved, I'll explain later and link on here then). We wanted the kids to have a chance to meet new kids and that was the best way to do it. I'm not thrilled about it, but the kids need to meet new people, right?!?!
So, this past Monday Karyl started 3rd grade!! She was so excited to meet her new teacher and start her first full year of public school!!
Then, after a lengthy fight with the school district, Freddie was given the green light to start 1st grade!! He was a few days late, but they let him start this morning (Thursday)! He was so excited and we are so proud of him, especially since he is so young (all the kids in his grade had to be 5 by September 2013...he turned 5 in February 2014, so he's really young). Thankfully he is big and tall, so no one will know unless they ask about his age!
Now I'm sitting here, watching The Lego Movie with Nicole and Barbara (ah, yeah, we also had another child...again, sorry - I'll add a post on here later too about her...) and a bunch of the kids from our new neighborhood.
Life is good!! I am going to try and get back in to the habit of posting so we can remember these crazy and fast moving times. See you again soon!!
